| Review: | Hi! Ever wonder what happen to your best-friend from kindergarten? Here I am. I was in Mrs. Myles kindergarden class in 1980. My best friend for the next 8yrs. was Tamar Kelly. I was trying to find her so I thought I'd try here. If you know her, please tell her I miss her.
I was fortunate to have many opportunities at this school but the one memory most vivid is the day I gave a speech at the M.L.K. Center. Mrs. Lindsey made sure I knew how to pronounce every word explicitly. Today I teach my daughter to speak with the same distinction. I'll never forget this day because it's the day Corretta Scott King kissed my cheek. Thanks Benteen, and all my teachers from then, for giving me the courage to live life to it's fullest. |
